I had a couple extra CVS coupons lying around, so I figured, why not do another giveaway?
So here's the deal: take a look around my blog, then leave a comment on this post about your favorite post from the last month, and be sure to include an e-mail address or a link to your blog- some way that I can reach you. On Thursday morning at 8:30am I will randomly choose two winners who will each receive one $3/$15 CVS store coupon- these are coupons I clipped from a local publication, NOT printables. They expire 12/31/08.
Thanks for checking out my blog- I look forward to your comments! Have a Beautiful Thrifty Day!

I have to say - the comment on the restaurant.com deal is SO WONDERFUL and is really going to make a difference for my family! We're in the middle of a move - we've been in temporary housing for the past month, and we close on our new home on Friday (Halloween!). Because of the huge loss we took on the sell of our last home we've had to come up with a way to save $7000 in the past two months. It has NOT been easy. And we'll need to be really thrifty for the first few months we're in our new house, too, in order to pay off some debt. So the restaurant gift cards are going to really really come in handy. $2 for a $25 gift card sounds too good to be true, but it's true!! I've bought 5 of them and we'll use them for our Friday night dinner (we try to eat out if we can on Fridays).
ReplyDeleteSeriously - whether I get chosen for the cvs coupon or not - thank you so much for posting about that!!

The Pumpkin Pleasures post is great. I am always looking for new pumpkin recipes! We paint our pumpkins rather than carve most of them so I always have pumpkin to use!
ReplyDeleteI would love the chance to win. I am new to the whole CVS thing so this would be fantastic!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite post was the one with the pumpkin recipes. I will be sure to try the meat in the pumpkin recipe this fall!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite post in the recent past would be the Spiritual Sunday: Making your Home a Sanctuary. We too often neglect the most important things in our lives with our constant "busyness" Thank you for the caring reminder :~)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Kath
Thank you for the giveaway! I just LOVE CVS. =)

I'd like to win! Thanks. Funny, there was a lady in the CVS by me looking for this exact coupon. ;)
ReplyDeleteI like the halloween...the goodnight goon. I will have to find that book for my daughter.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to have found your blog! I really like your "Spiritual Sunday" features...especially this last one "from Heavenly Hands". I LOVE this time of year and just feel more energized and alive with the crisp air and the beauty of God around me! Living in south Louisiana but being from Tennessee, we miss the beautiful colors of fall for the most part. :( Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and I look forward to visiting your blog more often!

I LOVE the spiderweb pattern. My kids' room now looks like something from Arachnophobia. They are hoping we win so we can buy a fake spider at CVS!

i like cheap meat was my fav. i just got my steaks today! cant wait to cook 'em up. I'd love the coupons...maybe i'll win!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite post was the Omaha Steaks Deal? post. Everyone was quick to post the "great" deal, but very few people posted when it went sour. Thanks for the update. Great giveaway, too. amber.roberson@rocketmail.com
ReplyDeleteI really liked the blog on frugal dating, its been so long since my husband and I have been on a date and the excuse always seems to be money. We will have to try some of your ideas, no more excuses left! :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance!!
Thank you for your post on Making Your Home a Sanctuary... When my husband and I bought our home we prayed over it before the first box was moved in. We desire it to be a sanctuary for all who enter. We desire that the love of God is present and tangible in our home, one of our instruments of service. It was nice to have a reminder of our commitment and of how God has answered that prayer for us.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Thanks for the chance at the coupon, but I've bookmarked your blog anyway. cstegall at sunflower dot com
Great gift and so useful for all the CVS addicts (like myself).
ReplyDeleteI liked the pumpkin pleasures post. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the Pumpkin Pleasures recipes. We have an abundance of pumpkins from our garden this year- we thought we were planting both butternuts and pumpkins, but it turned out only pumpkins, and plenty of them. We're giving some to friends, but some new recipes will help us use the rest. Thanks!

really appreciate your Spirtual Sundays posts.
ReplyDeleteHi-
ReplyDeleteI really liked your idea for a homemade halloweeen....using a coloring book. We are going to move next month and I didn't want to get out our decorations while trying to pack up, so I used this idea and our kids loved it. Now we have cute homemade decorations that the kids had a ton of fun making. Thanks! I love CVS and could really use this coupon.

ReplyDeleteI love the post about keeping Sunday Spiritual in your household.
ReplyDelete" when our homes are sanctuaries of peace and love where the Spirit of God can dwell, then they will be places where our families will want to be" -I totally agree!
God Bless you and good luck with this blog.

I love CVS coupons!!! Thanks for a great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog from moneysavingmom.com. My favorite post of yours was the one about restaurant.com! 80% savings! Thanks! I would love the $3 off $15 from CVS. We don't ever get those in the papers or stores here in MI. Thanks!

I love your Spiritual Sunday's posts. It's so easy to get caught up in our "wheeling & dealing", and just the everyday "stuff" of life--it's good to remember to stop and take a deep breath and take care of our spiritual side.
ReplyDeleteI love your Homemade Halloween posts!

I liked your spiritual Sunday post on making home a sanctuary. Very practical suggestions - thanks! I need those tips more for me than for my kids. I so often get frazzled and impatient with all that's going on at home. Thanks for the CVS coupon giveaway! alicia m horn at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm new here, and tried to do some catching up on what your blog is about. I have to say that I love all the spiritual sunday's! I kinda just skipped around just to find those and read. My favorite was about making your home a safe place. I have realized in the past months that I do not give enough to my children because Im always stressed over all the housework. So, I have decided to get rid of everything I don't use or need. I have been at it for about 2 weeks now, and I can already tell the difference. I have more time to sit down and talk with everyone. I'm not running around constantly. We have also put my husband on a different fishing schedule (he has to fish at least once a week!) so that he can be home in time for a family sit down diner.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great giveaway!

I like your savings ideas, and your giveaway is awesome.... these are so hard to come by! I would love to have one. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the homemade halloween decorating posts. We don't decorate for halloween yet(my boy is only 3) but it does get me in the mood to start my fall and Christmas decorating.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog BTW and thanks for doing this giveaway!
My favorite entries are the "deal of the week" and "i love cheap meat". I'm alwyas looking for great stuff to go in baskets for Christmas, and you have helped me to do just that, thank you! I also shop for the best value on meat. My family consists of myself and three guys- my husband and two sons. I'm not much of a meat eater, but they definitely are!
ReplyDeleteThanks again,

I love your post on how to make your home a sanctuary. This has been weighing heavily on my heart lately... my family is always on the go so much so that we can not stand to be home together. I am praying that we can learn to make our home a sanctuary. A place where we all want to be!
ReplyDeleteI love your Spiritual Sunday blogs. When I was reading about "Keeping Focus on the Right Thing" it reminded me that I should look to Jesus in all situations. Thanks for sharing about how we should turn our focus back on Jesus, and not worry about how we look while we are trying to be like Him.
ReplyDeletemjy3c@hotmail.com
I've peeked around your blog, and I'm torn as to which is my favorite post- the pumpkin pleasures (Love this time of year- and the dinner in a pumpkin reminded me of Petrozza from HK!) or the Easy Deals of the week (I have two kids under two- and sometimes older coupons are hard for me to find).
ReplyDeleteEither way, I appreciate the hard work you put into your blog, and I've added you to my "must read" list!
I swear I'm not being silly when I say THIS is my favorite post. LOL! But since I'm sure you meant something else I would say the pumpkin recipes. I love making new things and this is just right for fall.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
